SAP AG is the largest business solution company in the world and third largest software provider. In the early days of the company history,  SAP stood for Systemanalyse und Programmentwicklung in German, which means System Analysis and Program Development. The acronym was changed to Systeme, Anwendungen und Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung in German or Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing in English.
